Say what you will about the ten commandments, you must always come back to the pleasant fact that there are only ten of them. ~H.L. Mencken

Nothing Will Ever Be The Same Again is a series of four books cast in cotton rag pulp, 19.5″ x 29.5″ each, by artist, Ravikumar Kashi.  This piece was on exhibit with several other Indian artists in November 2009 in Mumbai, specifically reflecting on tragic events, loss, despair, and hope for the future.  This piece by Kashi is a direct response to the Mumbai terrorist attacks in November 2008.  Kashi leaves the books open-ended to invite viewers to fill the pages with their own reflections. Tragic events such as 9/11 and the Mumbai attacks are felt throughout the world, by different cultures, perhaps different circumstances, but bring us together by seeking comfort and healing through the pain.  Image source: http://indiancolours.com/index.php/exhibitions/details/205
